Hardware Engineer

For our Client a new Engineering R&D Center in Cracow with projects all around Poland, we are looking for a Hardware Engineer (Fire Protection & Security).

Mandatory Requirements:

• BSc or MSc in Electrical or Electronics
• Hardware design for fire panel and detectors
• Knowledge of testing for EN54, 62368
• Knowledge of testing equipment like oscope, meters, analyzers
• Knowledge of schematic and PCB layout
• Ability to operate in highly motivated, high impact multi-functional team environment
• English language min. B2
• Mandatory working professional Polish language in speaking and writing

Good to have:

• FW development knowledge
• Functional / Intrinsic safety

Your role:

• Translate marketing, customer and industry requirements into product design
• Define and provide different embedded hardware alternatives for specified requirements in order to select the best solution
• Design, implement and maintain Fire Alarm Panels from specification through production
• Design, develop, and integrate new hardware features
• Define and develop complete conceptual, architectural, detailed design, test and verification plans: from concept and design to production
• Define and develop embedded platform, and Life Safety Systems and component applications
• Proto-type testing, verification testing, system testing and quality assurance
• Documentation as High Level Design, Detailed Design, Interface Specification, Test Report, Release Notes Document, etc.
• Define and execute engineering design testing, reliability and verification
• Perform the necessary design control documentation
• Interface local and remote engineering teams (i.e. Mechanical Engineering, Firmware Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering etc.) on projects requirements and development
