Embedded Linux Software Engineer

SEE YOURSELF IN THIS ROLE
In this position, your primary responsibility will involve firmware development for a Linux-based LCD TV project that will be used by millions of users. Our overarching objective is to establish a versatile software platform that spans across various OEMs, supporting both native and browser-based TV applications.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Develop native applications using a custom XML widget engine (like QML) in C++
• Apply OS-level features using C++, Linux queues, and DBus
• Assist in the integration of new OEM platforms using C, Linux, kernel, and drivers
• Establish hardware and OEM software abstraction layers
• Implement abstraction layers for the graphical pipeline, network subsystem, and HDMI-CEC

WHAT YOU HAVE

• Strong background in C and C++ programming
• Experience with Chromium, Git, and Docker
• Expertise in C and Linux for system-level tasks
• Knowledge of C++17 will be a plus
• Familiarity with media pipelines or video tool implementers will also be a plus
