Problem Resolution Manager

Problem Resolution Manager is responsible for identifying and resolving issues that arise within a project. The engineer is the primary interface to the stakeholder and internal project members. Problem Managers research the root causes of incidents, make temporary solutions (workarounds) available, and develop final solutions for known errors. Problem Managers engage in proactive problem management by analyzing trends or historical data of incidents.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all problem tickets reported by Stakeholders / Internal
• Single point of contact for the stakeholders / internal for the problem tickets.
• Responsible for prioritizing and plan problems registered by the Problem Coordinators.
• Responsible for communicating to stakeholders and project members on time.
• Responsible to monitor the problem and known error resolution progress and perform required action.
• Responsible to review the new problem tickets, discuss with stakeholder / Internal.
• Responsible to generation and publish of the statistics.
• Responsible for follow up the tickets progress with the tickets responsible
• Responsible to drive internal tickets update and track the good closure for each SW release as per the process.
• Responsible to update, track and close all the ticket linked to a delivered release.
• Responsible for Analyses and counter measurements are correctly filled.
• Responsible to report and discuss about overdue tickets in project meeting.

 

Mandatory Qualifications

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or similar
• 6+ years of experience working with requirements development and management
• Experience in automotive industry
• Proficiency in using Polarion and Jira is a must
• Experience of working within an ASPICE based process environment
• Fluency in English is required.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills (especially with internal and external stakeholders); work effectively as a team member.

 

Preferred Experience

• German and/or French fluency would be an advantage
• Experience delivering a project with functional safety (ISO26262) requirements.
• Propulsion or electric motor system experience.
• Knowledge of Cyber security (ISO 21434)
• Experience in using Polarion as a requirement management tool
