Embedded Software Test Engineer

At the moment we’re looking for engineers willing to grow in the area of Embedded Systems Validation & Verification.

In this role you will join the 'MotoHawk’ Engine Systems Team, that works on the software solutions for our products: controllers for industrial engines that support marine, transportation, energy or construction industries.

There are 2 stages of recruitment process. Selected candidates will be invited to:

1. technical online interview (2h)
2. final onsite interview (2h)

Your responsibilities:

• Verifying components for MotoHawkTM model-based development tool using National InstrumentsTM LabVIEW and TestStand.  More information about MotoHawkTM can be found at msc.woodward.com
• Performing requirements capture, test plan creation, verification testing, debugging, and working with module hardware
• Automating test sequences using various tools and approaches
• Creating and executing automated tests per predefined test plans
• Working with electronics design and other software engineers to increase code quality
• Testing on real targets and instrumentation with “Hardware in the Loop” concept

Requirements (must have):

• Engineering degree (at least bachelor), preferably in software engineering, computer science or electronics engineering
• At least 1 year of professional experience of  working with LabVIEW and/or with embedded software testing
• Familiar with requirement-based test case development
• Demonstrated ability to communicate in Polish and English, verbally and through written documentation
• Willingness to growth in Embedded Systems testing

Requirements (nice to have):

• Knowledge of NI TestStand
• Familiar with using laboratory equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, DAQ, etc.)
• Knowledge of MathWorks tools: MATLAB, Simulink
