We are seeking a skilled and passionate professional, to join the Industrial Systems & Services Group. The Service Tools Verification Engineer will participate in the design process of modern industrial software tools that are used for controlling customer applications. Service Tool applications are working on the industrial electronics hardware that is used to monitor and control gas / steam turbines, or to control electro-hydraulic valves in gas / steam fuel systems in Large Scale Fixed Installations like Power Stations or Refineries or to control diesel and natural gas engines used for power generation, bus transportation, oil & gas exploration, and marine applications.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Design, support and test of moderate to high complexity software systems
Creation of specification, reports, process study and research investigations
Independent unit testing, debugging, software/hardware integration
Verification of Toolkit based PC tools
Execute automated and manual testing per predefined test plans
Working with software developers to assure software quality
Design test cases based on the existing automated test frameworks (NI TestStand, libraries created in C#, Python scripts, DXL scripts)
Testing on real targets and instrumentation with “Hardware in the Loop” concept

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Excellent communication skills both in Polish and English
At least 2-4 years of experience in software verification/testing (we will also consider more experienced candidates)
Engineering degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent

Required good or very good knowledge/experience in:

• C# programming
• Documentation based test-case development
• Test automation
• Requirements management tools (DOORS) and version control systems

Advantage would be:

• NI TestStand development experience
• Java programming
• Python and DXL script programming languages
• Working on assigned tasks independently to meet schedule
